Day 01: Arrive Delhi – 24 Dec, Thursday


Arrive Delhi, meet and assist at the Airport by our Representative & transfer to the hotel.


Delhi: is one of the most important cities of India, as it is the National Capital Territory, which is also the location of the major administrative and legal offices of the country. Later proceed for half day sightseeing tour of Delhi:


India Gate: This 42 meter high, free standing arch was built in 1931.It was originally called All India War Memorial in the memory of the 90,000 soldiers of the Indian Army who died in World War I. The names of the soldiers are inscribed all along the walls of the arch. In 1971, the eternal flame was lit here to honour the Amar Jawan (Immortal Soldier).


Humayun’s Tomb: It was built by Haji Begum (widow of Humayun) in 1565 – 66, nine years after his death.


Qutub Minar: This magnificent structure in the southern part of the capital was built by the Muslim King; Qutab – ud – din Aibak in 1199 A.D. Minar (tower) is 72.5 meters high and has as its base a mosque. Evening drive back to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 02: Delhi – Agra (By road Approx. 04 hrs) – 25 Dec, Friday


Morning after breakfast visit other places of Delhi which includes: 


Red Fort: Derived from a Hindi word Lal, which means red and Quila which means fort. It is laid out along the river Yamuna as an irregular octagon, surrounded by a wall of about 2.4 kms in circumference and is built of red sandstone. Shah Jahan started construction of the massive fort in 1638 and it was completed in 1648. Chandni Chowk (Silver Street): It is the colourful main street and shopping bazaar of Old Delhi and is today one of the country’s best known wholesale market for textiles, electronic goods and watches. The entire area was designed by Jahanara Begum, Shah Jahan’s favourite daughter and was then inhabited by the well-to-do families of the time. You can also enjoy rikshaw ride.


Jama Masjid: is one of the largest mosques in India. Later in afternoon drive to Agra. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 03: Agra – Delhi (By road Approx. 04 hrs) – 26 Dec, Saturday


Today morning after a leisurely breakfast visit Agra fort- the rusty and majestic red-sandstone fort of Agra stands on the banks of the river Yamuna and the construction was started by Emperor Akbar in 1566. At the Diwan-I-Am (hall of public audience), a colonnaded hall of red-sandstone with a throne alcoveof inlaid marble at the back, the Emperor heard public petitions. At the Diwan-I- Khas (hall of private audience) where marble pavilions with floral inlays lend an ethereal ambience, the Emperor sat on his gem-studded Peacock Throne and met foreign ambassadors and rulers of friendly kingdoms. Later visit the magnificent Taj Mahal- one of the seven wonders of the world surely the most extravagant expression of love ever created. 20,000 men laboured for over 17 years to build this memorial to Shah Jahan's beloved wife. Later in afternoon drive to Delhi. Arrive and check in to the hotel. Evening free for leisure by own. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 04: Delhi Hotel - Airport – 27 Dec, Sunday


Morning after breakfast checkout and transfer you to the Delhi International Airport for your flight back home.
